The AGM for Pittington Village Hall Association will be held at the hall at 7:00pm on Wednesday 27th February 2013. All members of the Village Hall are invited to attend and to consider and vote on the following important items:
- The dissolution of Pittington Village Hall Association and the transfer of all assets to a newly formed incorporated charity to be called Pittington Community Association. The transfer to an incorporated organisation is a requirement of the asset transfer process put in place by Durham County Council.
- Election of the committee.
With respect to elections, the current Chairman and Bookings Secretary have both indicated their intention to step down so we do need new committee members. It is anticipated that the elected committee will become the first committee of Pittington Community Association if and when the transfer takes place.
The mobile cinema returns to Pittington Village Hall on 17th February with Madagascar 3 at 2pm.
Entry is just £2 per person, refreshments will be available.
