With respect to elections, the current Chairman and Bookings Secretary have both indicated their intention to step down so we do need new committee members. It is anticipated that the elected committee will become the first committee of Pittington Community Association if and when the transfer takes place.
The mobile cinema returns to Pittington Village Hall on Sunday December 23rd at 2pm with a Christmas special showing of Arthur Christmas.
Arthur Christmas reveals the incredible, never-before seen answer to the question: ‘So how does Santa deliver all those presents in one night?’ The answer: Santa’s exhilarating, ultra-high-tech operation hidden beneath the North Pole.
Entry will be just £2. Refreshments will be available. The film is rated a PG so all ages are welcome.
This showing is the start of a new long-term agreement with the mobile cinema following on from the successful pilot that finished earlier this year. Next year should see at least four visits from the mobile cinema and this can be increased if they prove popular so come along, enjoy a great Christmas film and show your support for the Village Hall!
